The ENCR recommendations on recording treatment variables in population‑based cancer registries will be presented, and will build on the experiences built in selected cancer registries as well as the analysis of treatment collection in Europe. It will include:
- An overview of CancerWatch survey results on current treatment recording practices in European cancer registries
- A summary of analyses of treatment data submitted to the ECIS database
- Presentation of the ENCR recommendations
- Practical examples illustrating key coding rules, frequent issues and possible solutions in routine registry work
The workshop is intended for registry staff involved in treatment data collection, coding, quality control and analysis. By combining survey findings, ECIS data analyses and concrete examples, it aims to support more complete, comparable and harmonised recording of cancer treatment across Europe.
