The JRC–ENCR Quality Check Software (QCS) has been updated to version 2.3.9, with several major enhancements to support cancer registries in validating incidence data submitted to the European Cancer Information System (ECIS).
Key updates in QCS 2.3.9 include:
- New multivariate checks for follow‑up variables (e.g. vital status, survival time)
- New multivariate checks for staging variables
- A new summary output file providing a detailed list of error codes by type of variable
- Updates and refinements to existing univariate and multivariate checks
- An improved Graphical User Interface (GUI) with new features for easier navigation and interpretation of results
