The ENCR and the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre (JRC), has published a new report: the "Position paper of the Survival in ECIS Working Group". This document outlines updated methodologies and quality standards for cancer survival estimates released through the European Cancer Information System (ECIS), addressing key data quality and collaboration issues to enhance the timeliness and regional relevance of survival indicators across Europe. The publication marks a significant step forward in harmonizing cancer survival reporting, supporting research and policy efforts to improve outcomes for patients throughout the EU.
