The ENCR is reactivating its Working Group on Haematological Malignancies and invites experts to express their interest in contributing to its work.
The Working Group will update ENCR guidance on the registration, classification and reporting of haematological malignancies. It will build on the 2014 ENCR recommendations, taking into account of recent developments in the WHO classification and ICD-O-4.
The Working Group’s initial activities will include reviewing the existing guidance; updating rules on sequential diagnoses, transformation and multiple primary malignancies; revising morphology relationship tables; and developing practical guidance to support consistent implementation in population-based cancer registries.
ENCR welcomes expressions of interest from experts, particularly in:
- Population-based cancer registration
- Haematopathology and clinical haematology
- Classification and coding of haematological malignancies, including WHO classification and ICD-O
- Epidemiology of haematological malignancies
- Cancer registry data quality, validation and reporting
To express your interest, please send your name, affiliation, country, a brief summary of relevant expertise, and a short statement of interest to the ENCR Secretariat at JRC-ENCR@ec.europa.eu.
