The goal of the EU project IDEA4RC is to establish a European Data Ecosystem to advance research on rare cancers. Such "Data Space for rare cancers" will facilitate the re-use of existing clinical data from multiple hospitals across Europe, by leveraging emerging interoperability technologies, federated learning, and AI approaches.
The webinar will dive into the Data Governance Layer of the IDEA4RC ecosystem, with a special focus on:
- the "data permit tool", enabling the centralised management of crossborder data access requests;
- the "data altruism tool", facilitating individual data donation, according to the concept outlined in the Data Governance Act.
This Webinar Series, launched within the "IDEA4RC Community of Interest", aims to raise awareness about the project within the broader healthcare community.
